This was a shoot where I wish I could share each and every image with you! These two young ladies have a brightness within them that shone so beautifully in the gooooooorrrrrrrgeous evening light we had on the evening we met up. One is a ballet dancer and the other is an Irish dancer, so they brought their outfits and we were able to capture some of their dancing spirit as well. What a wonderful evening!
As a photographer, it is really rewarding to have a variety of different subjects. I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of who I photograph — newborns, toddlers, grandparents, boudoir, pregnancy. It definitely keeps the creative juices flowing and challenges me with my approach to who I photograph and how I photograph! So I was absolutely thrilled when Brendan and I went out to get some photographs of him in celebration of his graduation this year. We took larger family photos a couple days earlier in a more natural setting and for this one we wanted to go more urban. So we walked down a back alley and this is what we found!
