I was thrilled when Leanne asked me to take some pictures of herself.   A lot of my work focuses on the little kids but I love working with the grown up ones too!   Our photo shoot was a chance to catch up with my dear friend, have lots of laughs and giggles and end up with some beautiful images of this beautiful lady!    Thanks so much for an evening doing three things, no four things I love —- visiting with people who make me smile, taking pictures, sharing a glass of wine and showing people how awesome and beautiful they are!  The rest are coming your way very soon, Leanne!

LONGVIEW MINI-SHOOTS! – Calgary Child Photographer

Our mini-sessions at a gorgeous property near Longview, Alberta are back!   We have had SUCH fun at these sessions in the past year and I just cannot wait to start them up again!  So book off Sunday, April 25th, take a gorgeous one hour drive down to picturesque Longview and join us for a fun experience that results in gorgeous images for your home!    Take a look at the slideshow here for some of the images caught over the past few times we’ve been there. 
The 25 minute session is $150, which includes one mounted 8×10 print.  There are a variety of places within a small area to take the photos during that time.  There is a gorgeous old red truck, beautiful textured wood, long grasses, tires, tractor, blue buildings, benches, mountains in the background… the options are endless and we’re sure to find something that works perfectly with your family!   You’re welcome to bring different outfits to achieve a variety of looks to your image gallery.  You will receive a minimum of 20 images in your gallery.  Prices start at $36 for a 5×7 and smaller print.

 

If you prepay for the ‘Longview Collection’ your session fee will be waived!   The Longview collection includes a 16×20 gallery wrapped canvas, the full set of digital files and a 4×6 print of each image.  The collection is $850 (do the math — you’ll see what a fabulous deal that is!!)

But no…

this is years and two kids later!   You gotta love it.   Thank you to all four of you for such a fabulous afternoon!  It was a load of fun and can’t wait to show you your gallery!!!

WINNER ANNOUNCED!!

Wow!  It has been a CRAZY week.  Harold and I went to San Francisco last week and had the most fabulous time.  As always though, there is so much to do before and after a holiday to make up for the time you go away.  So I am catching up… thanks to everyone’s patience over the last few weeks as I work through a wonderful holiday season and post holiday season as well.

We have the winner of the $100 Garrison Girl gift certificate!!!    I asked Harold to choose a random number and he first chose a number that I had made a comment on!!!  Too funny!!  As tempted as I was, I didn’t think that would be very nice of me.   So a new number was chosen and the winner is …. Melissa T!!!    Melissa, we will get a hold of you so you can contact Jodi directly.

And for everyone else, if you’re looking for a small, deserved escape for yourself please contact Jodi through the Garrison Girl website.   Jodi is a complete sweetheart … one of those bright faces out there and I’m sure you will thoroughly enjoy your experience!

Here is one of the images I took down in San Francisco at a fabulous organic winery that we fell in love with, Retzlaff Winery.  We weren’t there for the grapes, but I still love how it looked with the sun coming through.  I’ll also keep you posted on some ideas we have with photo shoots in other areas.  One of the first stops may indeed be San Francisco in the fall.  If you know of anyone who lives down there who’d like to have a photo shoot done, just let me know!
